  1. The F1 cost cap may have gone too far.

  2. There were concerns that the new tighter track limits would lead to even more processional races

  3. Definitely update these to V10s first – give the young ones more experience.

‘Hey, maybe we could use these in Monaco.’

  5. Gee the 2026 F1 cars are smaller and quieter than I thought they’d be.

  6. “As usual, Stefano had no idea what he was looking at, but he gave a great speech about how it was exactly what F1 needed”

      Nice one.

  7. If this monetisation model is any good, we will roll them out everywhere.

  8. “Are we early? Where is everybody?”

Every time that bell rings, another kart gets its halo and wings

  10. This is what I call a proper street track.

  11. “Complicate, then add heaviness!”

And mine – if I could vote.

  12. If we race these, plus two mandatory pit stops, Monaco will be interesting.

  13. “So if you feed them petrol and add some electric fertilizer, these babies grow up to be proper F1 cars?”

  14. Stefano: this setup could be a good way for F1 to create the illusion of more night races for Drive to Survive.

  15. It’s the future of racing – the track is exactly one car wide, so teams can execute their strategies to perfection without interference from other competitors.

  16. These cars are the future of f1!

  17. ” I can start a F1 Senior Drivers Championship with these…
…with their lack of ground effects i am sure i can convince Lewis to be the first big name”

  18. Yésss, a train, without the need of DRS. This is the future of motor racing.

  19. “Now the real racing begins”

  20. Michael Andretti will never have a team here.

  21. We’re going to need smaller drivers!

  22. Stefano was pleased to see that the organisers had nailed the look and feel of modern F1 – teenagers driving mostly identical and mostly unpainted cars nose to tail around an artificial circuit without a scrap of gravel in sight. They even remembered the painted lines for track limits!

  23. The latest poll shows that the fans want electric, simpler engine, lighter and narrower cars!

Impressed with the huge financial benefits, Stefano was keen to see the next hall, where the spec driver assembly line was situated.

  26. Hmmm, how do I get in one if those? Much too small for my ego, where is the 2025 F1 car?

  27. Fantastic ! What are they?

  28. “I can ruin this too :..”

  29. “I hope no one asks me who drives the Number 10 car.”

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could vote on the best caption?

  31. The competition was on. The conventionally charged Red cars, vs the wirelessly charged Blue cars feeding off the sheer power emanating from Domenicali.

  32. So this is Indy Car

  33. The 2026 regulations didn’t work out quite the way we expected…

Although the new all electric power units will produce even less noise than the current hybrid power units, this will be more than compensated by the screaming from the racefans.net comment section.
