Carlos Sainz Jnr wasn’t the happiest driver at the end of the Miami Grand Prix last weekend but at least he saw the chequered flag in the points.
He also got to wave one himself the week before as he inspected the site of Madrid’s new track which will appear on the 2026 F1 calendar.

Do you hear the people cringe
looking around this new Madring?
FOM loves the money, not the racing

When the heating of your tyres

your tyres’ life will meet the cliff
of Pirelli’s gums.
Give us all your capital
and fill the purse of Liberty.
Beyond the Great Pay Wall
is there a race you long to see?
Then look at the sprint
that devalues the actual grand prix

Will you give your heart to FOM
and jump at ev’ry highway pass?
DRS gives way to MOM

The budget cap, stewards,
the rulebook, it’s all just for laughs.
