Carlos Sainz Jnr wasn’t the happiest driver at the end of the Miami Grand Prix last weekend but at least he saw the chequered flag in the points.

He also got to wave one himself the week before as he inspected the site of Madrid’s new track which will appear on the 2026 F1 calendar.

    It’s been a chequered start to Sainz’s Williams career.

    That’s the 2026 race seat contenders. Perez is leading, with Bottas in his DRS. Last lap. Sainz’s ready.
