  1. Russell and Verstappen on the front row. Does that increase the odds that Verstappen will get a race ban?

    1. What’s worth more to George, a victory, or doing what he can to get Max banned?

    2. Massively. McLaren’s approach is to dive out of the way of Max whereas Russell is the driver most likely to provoke him. Even as I’m typing this, I just heard him get interviewed and he said “I’ve got a bit more room on my licence for points than he has…”

I really hope he gets off the grid well tomorrow!

I’m not so sure Oscar’s approach to Max is to ‘dive out of his way’. If anyone is to take Max on and beat him aggressively but fairly my money’s on number 81.

        1. Yeah, I can easily see Max having to back out of a maneuver right after the start as Russel just doesn’t give him the room to try anything and Piastri trying to muscle his way through. Piastri certainly has shown some decisive moves on track already.

        2. Seems like it is. If they get a pole, they say “keeping the lead at the start isn’t important.” If Max goes for an overtake, they don’t defend it….

Russell won’t let Max by at the start tomorrow without pushing him off.

  2. Penalty for Russell from overtaking in the pit queue should be fair and square. Drops 3 places in the grid at least.

    1. No penalty due: Tsunoda was driving unnecessarily slowly and that will be taken into account

    2. Can you explain what rule he broke to get this penalty? If the car in front of you isn’t moving I’m pretty sure you’re allowed to overtake them
