Leclerc replaces unwell Vettel for first test of 2020

Sebastian Vettel will not test for Ferrari today due to illness, the team have confirmed.

Team mate Charles Leclerc will take his place in the SF1000.

Ferrari said Vettel is “not feeling great” in an announcement on social media. He was originally scheduled to continue driving the car into the second day of testing tomorrow before handing over to Leclerc.

    Last year he provided ample entertainment for F1 fans. We need him healthy and fast.

    Joke aside, i wish him well. I hope we can see him in the car tomorrow.
