  1. If QLF on Friday is a definite preference for Sprint events, I hope the other FP gets eliminated or that parc ferme kicks in from Sprint start instead. Running an FP under parc ferme restrictions is just useless.

  2. UK is in BST now. Are these times right?

    1. I checked the Sky F1 schedule for Friday Qualifying and yeah above times seem correct.

      1. If they are right they should be called BST not GMT. GMT would be one hour earlier.

        1. BST has been in operation for three weeks now 🤔

    2. Yeah, not the first time I am mislead on this site regarding race weekend schedule due to wrong time zones. The table is in BST (or GMT+1), not GMT.

  3. If anyone is interested there is also the BTCC season opening weekend with great support races at Donington Park next weekend 23-24 April too.

    1. Free to Air in the UK all day Sunday on ITV4 I should add.

    2. Thanks for the reminder!!!

    3. @ahxshades I’ll be there. Still tickets left the last time I looked.

    4. That’s my Sunday sorted. :)

    5. @ahxshades Sincerely, how do you reconcile ‘racing’ with success ballast? I used to love BTCC until they introduced this nonsense. Which to me is even worse than DRS. I struggle to call it racing when success is penalised.

      1. @psynrg – I just enjoy the racing, yes it impacts the purity, and I would prefer it without success ballast, but I’m not going to turn my back on a series because it’s not perfect – what would be left to watch?

    6. Its also Portugal GP for MotoGP from 22-24 April and that is going to far more exciting to watch(across all 3 classes).

      1. First, apologies, I hit report by mistake instead of reply.

Second, the amount of motorsport this weekend may get me in grief at home :)

  4. I’d forgotten about the BS sprint races.

  5. @keithcollantine can we have these important GP weekend articles in the burger menu please like they used to be? Hard to scroll back through pages to find tv times.

  6. Sad to find out these US times are all incorrect, I guess I should use another source… The times listed here are all one hour later than the actual EDT start times for every session. In case a future edit invalidates my post, actual start times are:
    FP1 Friday 7:30 EDT
    Quali Friday 11:00 EDT
    FP2 Saturday 6:30 EDT
    Sprint Saturday 10:30 EDT
    Race Sunday 9:00 EDT
