  1. Too bad after all the talk of zero tolerance about track limits – they showed Verstappen crossing the yellow line on pit exit 5 times, they only mistakenly investigated Perez (no conclusion).
Just watch Moto2 today for a real race direction that takes their job seriously…..

    1. Gotta say, don’t know which one I like better, but playing pretend is not a sport.

      1. If you want penalty’s for a heavy oversteer in whet conditions and only half a tyre over the line. You are Just here to hate on Verstappen.

        1. We demand a full investigation and fire the race director!

          1. Neither helps either though…..
And in other cases people say it should be the quality of the driver to prevent that “heavy oversteer”, they’re the best after all. It’s not “hate”.

    2. They’re taking their job seriously. It’s the fact it’s bent all toward Verstappen is the problem.

  2. Good job by RB on strategy, nice win for Checo. Russel consistently outperforming Hamilton once more, he’s really got him in the pocket it seems.

    1. Really makes you think who would’ve won last years drivers championship if Russel was in that Mercedes

      1. They are literally the closest pairing on the grid performance wise. Like a tenth between them. But 90% of luck resides in one part of the garage. Even today Russel was gained a spot at the expense of Norris without actually overtaking him.

After 6 races in a row can we still say it’s only luck? Or are we witnessing GOAT (George Owns Another Teammate)? Only time will tell.

    3. You could also think about it the other way round.
Hamilton has nothing to win by finishing 5th and beating Russel.
While Russel has everything to win by finishing 5th and beating Hamilton.

      1. Well, Hamilton could have tried to gain a position and finished 6e.
Its obvious George is the better driver in this car.

        1. There’s been some luck but yes, I’d say russell is at least outperforming hamilton for now.

      2. Hamilton has a legacy and a reputation to uphold, not to mention a pay packet that is substantial. By finishing behind Russell, he loses negotiating power and future earnings. Right now, a whole slew of detractors that state anyone could have won in the Mercedes of the last decade, Hamilton is making that point for them, he should dispatch Russell almost as handily as he did Bottas to hammer home his victories are his and not solely Mercedes machinery.

At this rate he’ll end up like Vettel, with a reputation as a has been that had an awesome car, but stuck around long enough to make sure younger talent missed out on a drive

It was a long one. Nice to see Ferrari not too low.
