Sebastian Vettel set the fastest time around the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in the second practice session. But the big story of practice was how most drivers struggled with the super-soft tyres, many of them complaining about severe graining on the option rubber.

Turkish Grand Prix qualifying produced the fifth pole position of Mark Webber’s career. Take a look back at the session in pictures below.
Mark Webber continued Red Bull’s run of dominance in qualifying with his third consecutive pole position at Istanbul. But Lewis Hamilton prevented a Red Bull lock-out of the front row. Last year’s front row occupants Sebastian Vettel and Jenson Button share the second row.

Sebastian Vettel is eyeing pole position for the Turkish Grand Prix after finishing fastest in the final practice session. Nico Rosberg pipped Lewis Hamilton to third place after the McLaren driver suffered a lurid spin at turn eight early in the session.
The second practice session in Istanbul ended with the top teams not far apart on lap time. But each seems to be strong at different points on the Istanbul track. Read on for analysis and interactive data from second practice.
McLaren were fastest again in the second practice session for the Turkish Grand Prix. Close behind Button were the two Red Bulls. But both suffered reliability problems on their cars, with Mark Webber coming to a stop at the end of the session.

Lewis Hamilton was the fastest driver in the first practice session in Turkey, setting setting a lap almost a second quicker than team mate Jenson Button. The two Mercedes were behind them, followed by Sebastian Vettel in the Red Bull.
HRT F1 have ended their collaboration with Dallara. The Italian chassis manufacturer created the F110 which the team has used this year.
