Marko Asmer’s domination of the 2007 British F3 championship continued with his seventh win in 11 races. He beat Raikkonen-Robertson team mates Stephen Jelley and Jonathan Kennard by over eight seconds – last year’s champions still looking for their first win this year. Asmer now leads Maro Engel by 70 points in the championship.

Romain Grosjean jumped into the championship lead with a dominant win at Mugello. Team mate Kamui Kobayashi held Sebastien Buemi off for second, while Buemi defended from Magny-Cours winner James Jakes.

An exciting second F3 race at the French Grand Prix weekend saw a maiden win for Britain’s James Jakes. The second race of the weekend saw all the overtaking and incident that was largely missing from the first one.

Kamui Kobayashi won the first Formula 1 support race at Magny Cours despite aggressive attention from team mate Romain Grosjean. Grosjean briefly got past Kobayashi on the second lap before his team mate reversed the move.
