Posted onFernando Alonso called the result of the European “unreal and unfair” after falling from third place behind the safety car to ninth at the chequered flag (before being promoted to eighth). Webber hits Kovalainen and flips (Video)
Posted onMark Webber’s European Grand Prix came to a dramatic end when he crashed violently with Heikki Kovalainen. The Red Bull and Lotus drivers were racing for position and collided at the fastest point of the track approach turn 12. Webber hit the back of the Kovalainen’s car and flew through the air.

Vettel heads final practice session
Posted onSebastian Vettel was fastest in third practice at the European Grand Prix. He headed Robert Kubica and Mark Webber after a close final practice session in Valencia.
