  1. Hi, I am going to the Brazilian GP and have tickets for Grandstand A. Hope it was a good choice? I have booked a package with Grandstand Motorsports and have transfers included on the Sat/Sun.My only concern is getting to the circuit on Friday and cause there are no allocated seats, getting there early is a must!
Maybe will see you there? Regards John

  2. Hi,
I’ve got Grandstand M tickets for the Grand Prix. I’m super excited, it will be my first GP. Do you have any good ideas of what we can do in between practice etc?
How easy is it to get pitlane access? And is it worth getting a kangaroo tv?
    Regards
    Leon

  3. Hi, I’m going to the Brazil GP in 10 days time. Anyone got any good tips on getting to the circuit and where to park? Thanks,

    Richard

    1. Hi, Richard. I’m brazilian and my advise to you are: Do not drive and park your own car nearby the circuit. Instead, you can use hotel’s transfer services (but you’ll need to wait the others that are using that too) or you can take a cab from the hotel and another one to go back. But ask the cab driver where is the best place to find a cab after the race. Try to know some portuguese words because are not all brazilians that speak english very well. Other important thing: Get there early and be prepared to face the crowd.

      1. Thank Teo. I’m driving down from San Jose dos Campos rather than staying in a local hotel. Any idea where best to park and get a taxi the last few kms?
        Richard

        1. Sorry, Richard. But that is something I don’t know … I’m going to try finding someone that knows that. I write you back here if find something.

      1. Instead of park at Eldorado Shopping Center would be better you park at Interlagos Shopping Center or SP Market Shopping Center. In these both will have special bus lines to drive you there and back too.

  4. Having been to the Grand Prix in Brazil four times now, I hope that I can shed some light on the questions above.

John: I would certainly plan on getting there early! The Brazilians love their Formula One and I can tell you that the Grandstands are always chock a block each year. Some hotels do offer a transfer service to the GP, however, you’re probably best off getting a cab to the circuit. They can drop you right at the front gate. Whilst it can be a bit of a wait when leaving, cabs are fairly cheap and might be the best, easiest and safest way in.

Leon: At every GP there are always support races and Brazil will should be no different. Otherwise there is always plenty to see in the crowd or you can wander down to the merchandising areas. If you’re sitting in the crowd, a KTV is almost a must. You may have access to an LED Screen to view, but the KTV can offer you so much more. We use them in the Paddock Club and they are brilliant. Highly recommended. As for access to the pitlane… You won’t get it on the race weekend unless you have bought some kind of super deluxe package, however, I believe that the pitlane will be open on Thursday for the general public to walk up and down. They have done it in previous years and I don’t see why they wouldn’t this year. It would be best to check the website closer to the event to see if any times are displayed.

Richard: See my previous comments regarding taxi’s.

    I hope this helps!

    1. Thanks Vox. Richard

  5. Just a hint for the foreign people that will be visiting my country to the F1 GP. Don’t mind to give TIPS for taxi drivers, waitress, restaurants and others. That won’t be a offense. Brazil doesn’t have the culture of TIPS. When you go to a restaurant, a 10% fee will be added to your bill. If you don’t like the service you can contest this 10%. That mean the 10% is optional. But we, Brazilians, don’t mind to pay that! If anyone would like to ask me anything regarding my country… fell free. I couldn’t get the tickets for this year race. I will be there next year.

  6. Hi guys, can anyone tell me: are their entrances into the circuit all around the circuit? We’re in Grandstand A so an entrance near there would clearly be best. Thanks for any advice.
    Richard

    1. Thanks fyujj. Is there an English version, my Portuguese is a bit rusty ;-)
