  1. why is there no car numbered 13 on the grid?

    1. coz 13 is an unlucky number, I guess…

    2. because it is unlucky and in memory of a nother driver

      1. miguelF1O (@)

why is Ferrari with numbers 5 and 6 ? I thought that the numbers were decided by the top driver at every team not only for the champ.

        1. Top driver gets #1 and his teammate is #2 (vettel and Webber), after that it goes by the last years constructor points…mclaren was 2nd, so they are 3/4, Ferrari was 3rd so they are 5/6.

    3. because you are number 13

    4. Unlucky 13……No. 13 is considered as unlucky number in many nations. In UK you can find 12 followed by 12a than 14…..

If you are ever unlucky enough to fly on Ryan Air take a look at the seat numbers.

        1. I think if you’re unlucky enough to fly on RyanAir, your luck can’t get much worse!

    5. Why is there no 13th row in a plane?
Nobody wants that number I guess.

  2. Cause having no number 13 on the grid is an tradition in f1

  3. Mclaren – Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton
Mercedes – Michael Schumacher, Nico Rosberg

  5. Will Kimi be back?

    1. I hope not I hate him

      1. no doubt he would hate you too!!

    2. I doubt it unfortunately. I love Kimi and still think he is one of the best formula 1 drivers ever. But Kimi I think is driven and motived differently than most of the drivers and he has given the impressions that he will only drive for a competitive team and that is not likely in 2011 as most have their line-up confirmed and I am not even sure Kimi really wants to.

      1. kimi good 2007 was a fluke kimi is rubbish

  6. everyone wants kimi bak but he will stay in rally. he even said he wants to race in championship challenging team and renault is not. schu will not quit.
as much as id like to see him back
kimi would have got more points than alonso

    1. you r absolutely right….kimi is more spectacular..

  7. Mclaren – Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton
Mercedes – Michael Schumacher, Nico Rosberg
Red Bull – Sebastian Vettel, Mark Webber
Ferrari – Felipe Massa, Fernando Alonso
Williams – Nico Hulkenberg, Vitaly Petrov
Renault – Robert Kubica, Adrian Sutil or raikkonen which is less chance
Force India – Timo Glock and Paul Di Resta
Toro Rosso – Sebastien Buemi, Jamie Alguesuari
Lotus – Heikki Kovalainen, Bruno Senna
HRT – Karun Chandhok, Sakon Yamamoto
BMW – Nick Heidfeld, Kamui Kobayashi
Virgin – luizzi , Lucas Di Grassi
team 13 grosjean trulli or barrichello

  8. The 13th Team is either in my opinoin Durango,Stefan or Cypher.

Durango have collabarated with JV and Stefan with Nakajima. But Cypher have been quite quit.

  9. Cypher Have Withdarawed Their F1 Bid.

  10. Mercedes Grand Prix Have Released Nick Heidfeld To Test Pirelli Tyres at Mugello In a Toyota. Which Gives Him an advantage to join F1 Next Year

    1. Kimi Raikkonen Will Also Be Testing For Pirelli

      1. The Sri Lankan
        16th January 2011, 18:20

this was old news. got a latest link?

  11. Lotus test drivers,

16 year old Nabil Jeffri should be on the list.

    1. He’s not an official test driver, he just did one straight-line test.

  12. Mclaren- Button, Hamilton
    Ferrari- Alonso, Massa
    Red Bull- Vettel, Webber
    Mercedes- Schumacher, Rosberg
    Renault- Kubica, Raikkonen
    Williams- Barrichello, Hulkenburg

    Force India- Sutil, Di Riesta
    Toro rosso- Buemi, Alguesuari
    Lotus- Kovalainen, Trulli
    Virgin- Glock, D’Ambrosio
    HTR- Senna, Yamamoto

I dont predict much change, i think maldonado will get a drive just dont know where to place him.

    1. Yes Maldonado Should Get A Drive Next Year
      Maybe With Sauber

  13. mercedes may go for sutil o raikonen as schumacher has pland to take rest for 2011..luizzi can loose his seat in FI.chandok , di resta in line fr tht…heidfield in sauber.. timo glock can get a move to a more quicker car then virgin

    1. glock a more quicker car then virgin! give em a chance it was only there first year

  14. Well Shumacher Has A Contract With Mercedes Until 2012
So I Guess He Might Be Joint Rosberg For Those 2 Years
Vitantonio Liuzzi Also Has Contract With Force India For 2011 So It Sutil Who Might Loose His Drive May Be Paul Di Resta But Definitly Not Karun Chandhok
Nick Heidfeld Looks Like He Will Join Sauber For 2011
Partnering Kamui Kobayashi and Timo Glock Has A Contract With Virgin For 2011 He Might Be Joint By Lucas Di Grassi Or Jerome D’ Ambrosio Who Drive During Practice For Virgin During The Up Coming Four Races

  15. There are rumours suggesting kubica will drive for ferrari in 2011 despite his contract with renault, and massa will move to partner kobayashi at sauber.
This would make way for raikkonen to move to renault.

    1. That Will Never Happen Because
Kubica Has A 2 Year Contract With Renault
and Massa Has a 2 Year Contract Witth Ferrari

    2. but kimi denied renult rumor

    Virgin – Glock – Guerrieri

  27. wer is nick heidfeld gonna drive??

    1. He’s in talks with Renault, which is his best chance.

  28. Why would Schumacher be number 7 and Rosberg 8. Rosberg has (quite clearly) outscored Schumacher last year, isn’t that why Hamilton would reclaim the top number from Button at Mc Laren?

    1. isnt it because he has more WDC wins under his belt and in button hamilton case hamilton won it 1st

  29. What’s Hartley doing in there? Red Bull did away with him in the summer and he’ll play no further part in any Red Bull programme. Seems good reason to cut the long-haired one from the list…

  30. I wonder why Trulli still wants to be a F1 driver… He had a great talent but lost his chance, A1-ring race with Prost was the symbol of his career.

  31. Doesn’t Hamilton’s McLaren contract end in 2012? I wonder what will happen in the next two years because I really can’t see him in any other team whatsoever.

  33. Should Ferrari be listed as no 3 and 4 as fernando came 2nd?

    1. No. After the team the drivers’ champion is racing for (in this case Red Bull), teams are assigned numbers based on the order they finished in the constructors’ championship.

  34. :C no place for raikkonen
I wanna see raikkonen in the redbull racing with vettel( they are big friends and very good pilots)
    p.s. sorry my english I´m portuguese :)

  35. Here in brazil now we’re hearing rumours that links bruno senna and lotus renault, probably petrov out….

  36. Giancarlo Fisichella can be a surprise in Force India.

  37. We want kimi back…!!
    He was the best..

    if not next year..

    6th January 2011, 10:25

    Red Bull-Vettel Webber
    Mclaren-Hamilton Button
    Ferrari-Alonso Massa
    Mercedes-Rosberg Schumacher
    Renault-Kubica Petrov
    Williams-Barrichello Maldonado
    Force India-Sutil di Resta
    Sauber-Kobayashi Perez
    Toro Rosso-Buemi Trulli
    Lotus-Kovalainen Senna
    HRT or Villeneuve Racing-Klien Chandhok
    Virgin-Glock d’Ambrosio

I think Trulli will not be at Lotus despite the 2011 FIA Entry List has him with Lotus. I think Senna will join Kovalainen. Bye Bye Liuzzi, Alguersuari, and Yamamoto. I also think that Jaques Villeneuve will buy HRT even though HRT said that the team is not for sale. I don’t think HRT will survive another year without a buyer.

  42. How come in this list Lotus have changed to Lotus Renault? is this not incorrect? surely Renault F1 is now Lotus Renault and Lotus is Team Lotus (provisionally I guess)

    1. F12011EPICWIN
      23rd January 2011, 9:04

Lotus (Fernandres’ Team) will be using renault engines for 2011 so they were called “Lotus Renault” but they want the right to use the name “Team Lotus”. The Renault Engine deal was made before Lotus cars joined the Renault F1. So now Renault F1 is called “Lotus Renault” and the Malaysian team is called “Team Lotus-Renault” So technically there are two Lotus teams on the grid in 2011 and both are powered by Renault engines. Yes, it’s never confusing, I know.

  43. Where’s Bruno Senna ??????
    What’s he up to…..

  44. Bruno Senna has confirmed that he will not take part in f1 for 2011

  45. This is pretty much the same teams as last year, which was really even in my opinion. Red Bull was slightly ahead at the end though. Will they do it again? Only time will tell.

  46. Nick Heidfeld – Test driver for Merc???? Looks like an incentive for Shumacher to pull his finger out!

  47. FERRARI 4 EVER AND ALONSO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND
    MASSA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND
    NEVER MACLAREN
    NEVER REDBULL
    NEVER RENAUT
    AND THE REST TEAMS

  48. I WANT TO WIN FERRARI BECAUSE I BELIEVE HE HAS BETTER CAR THAN LAST YEAR AND I AM WAITING FOR STARTS AGAIN FORMULA 1 TO SEE MORE ACTION AND I DONT WANT TO WIN AGAIN REDBULL. LAST YEAR ALMOST WINS FERRARI BUT RENAUT PETROV HANG OUT FERNANTO ALONSO BEHIND HIM.AND MACLAREN I WANT TO WIN RED BULL BECAUSE I THINK HE HAS GOOD CAR.

    1. Srsly, no need to shout…

    2. maclaren forever, ferrari never with alonso as driver

  49. will the willims float go ahead
how will this secure there future
what happens when the shares tumble
what happens to williams when there another
stock market crash where do they go then

  50. mideantenas
    9th March 2011, 17:14

There’s an error in the list numbers.
Kovi will be 20 and Trulli 21.
    Cheers.

  51. Kimi just started up his own Rally team….so he won’t be in F1 any time soon if at all!

  52. MY FAVOURITE IS HAMILTON AND BUTTON

  53. I think other web site proprietors should take this web site Tebow Jets Jersey as an model, very clean and wonderful user friendly style and design, let alone Manning Broncos Jersey the content. You’re an expert in this topic!

  54. Why are there more than 20 f1 drivers?
