History
Campos Meta 1 was granted a place in F1 for 2010. But financial problems led to Jose Ramon Carabante taking over the entry from Adrian Campos. He re-named the team after Hispania, one of his companies, and it raced as HRT from 2010.
The team finished 11th out of 12 teams in its first two seasons. It changed hands again in 2011 after a buy-in from Thesan Capital.
