A new 12-turn, 3.59 kilometre racing circuit is being planned in Northern Ireland. It’s not clear what type of motor racing it intends to host though it’s doubtful they have F1 in mind considering its size. A new British Touring Car Championship venue perhaps?

Apparently they’re keen on trying to get the World Superbikes heading there too, and given the Northern Irish love of motorcycle racing in general, I’d hope that alone means it’s more popular with the locals than the Circuit of Wales ever was…
