Expanded 2018 DTM calendar adds Brands Hatch and Misano

Tense times in the DTM as the future of the series is under a cloud due to the impending departure of Mercedes. Nonetheless it’s offering a revised and expanded calendar for 2018 including new events in Britain and Italy.
A return to Brands Hatch has been announced but unlike their previous stint at the track they’ll use the full grand prix circuit instead of the Indy layout. The series will also head to Misano in Italy.
4th to 06th May – Hockenheim
18th to 20th May – Lausitzring
1st to 3rd June – Budapest
22nd to 24th June – Norisring
13th to 15th July – Zandvoort
11th to 12th August – Brands Hatch
24th to 26th August – Misano
7th to 9th September – Nurburgring
21st to 23rd September – Red Bull Ring
12th to 14th October – HockenheimA change for the better? I like the additions, especially Brands Hatch Grand Prix which is a terrific circuit. And I think coming back to the UK makes sense as there have been several successful British drivers in the series.
