Help! I just stumbled upon the game on the net, I played it a lot in the ’90s but I just can’t remember or find the way to enter the car setup screen (to change wing levels, gear ratios, etc). Can anybody help? Thanks!

Maybe from practice? I verry vaguely remember something about pitting to change the setup (not that we were ever any good at it)

I’ve tried everything, used every key combination I could imagine at free practice, pre-race practice and qualy sessions and nothing seems to work. Got the game manual online, it explains in a detailed way how each setup adjustment affects the car, but not how to enter setup mode. See:

When in pits sitting in the cockpit, simply press Y.
Then you get to the following screen: https://workupload.com/file/2C9TtXzz
Click the first option “Alter car setup” and you’re there.
