The first race weekend is only just over two weeks away! There will be a single pre-season test next week, so can you all please private message me as to your line-ups. If I don’t hear from you, I will just use all of your drivers in a car number rotation order.
Tyres are all the same so it is purely just which driver on which day. The test will be run at Indianapolis with days one and two taking place on the road course, and days three and four on the oval.
I am also going to start accepting strategy choices for the first race. All you need to do is tell me at which point in the race you want to make your pitstop: 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th quarter. Remember the safety car is also now a factor, (if a SC and pitstop occur in the same quarter of the race, the SC will happen first as it will mimic IndyCar rules of pitlane being closed initially) so bear that in mind when making your choice. Choosing to pit earlier will mean a light car initially but heavy in the middle stint, while pitting late will mean a heavy car initially, but lighter at the end.
Can you also please inform me of any development (2018) or research (2019) you wish to do by 23:59 UK Time on Wednesday 14th March. I will update the finance pages this afternoon.
Any questions, please ask!6th March 2018, 15:31 at 3:31 pm #361560
The finances page is now fully up to date, and includes our two new teams!
If you have forgotten your password or – in the case of the new teams need a new password – please drop me a private message with what you would like your password to be.7th March 2018, 21:11 at 9:11 pm #361783AnonymousInactive

Now is the time to announce the Triple Crown for this year! As per last season there will be 6 additional entries open. The two single-car teams are guaranteed one each, with the other four then being first come, first serve between the five two-car teams. We are also only allowed three Formula Virtual drivers to partake this season, and this will again be on a first come, first serve basis – but remember I need to see proof of the FV team managers agreement too!
Please private message me if you fit the rules above as to whether you’d like to run an additional car in the Triple Crown races or not, and if so, who you would like in it.8th March 2018, 17:30 at 5:30 pm #361881AnonymousInactive
BEYER SET TO RACE FOR SCUDERIA STARS IN TRIPLE CROWN.
Reigning Triple Crown champion Felix Beyer is set to drive for new team Scuderia Stars at the three special races. Despite no official announcement, team manager Adrian O’Sullivan said that the contract was signed, and they were just running through details.
‘It’s not official yet, but the contract is signed and we are just going through things. Felix is happy, Ryan [Peterson] is happy and Bradley [Downton] is happy. We are very happy to have signed Felix, and hope we can provide a car for him to show his talent as he did last year”, O’Sullivan said.
Beyer, Peterson and Downton were unavailable for a comment, though the Dutchman is said to be delighted with the move. He won the Triple Crown last year with Kannan GP.
New rules regarding extra Triple Crown entries mean that all four and three car teams cannot add any drivers. Only three Formula Virtual drivers are allowed to take part.
With one car teams guaranteed a extra car, Rodeo and Aggies Racing are vying to sign free agent and former V-Prix winner Lewis Ellington. Only four of the five two car teams are allowed an extra car. Formation Competition will almost defiantly run Nathaniel Powers, leaving Kannan GP, Cerburus Performance and Lancashire Racing Team to battle it out for the last two spots for the Triple Crown.10th March 2018, 17:12 at 5:12 pm #362102

Disappointed that Mikko spun, expected better from him. I think the rain made the car look better than it is, but I’m still happy with the performance.14th March 2018, 18:29 at 6:29 pm #362486
