Real World Racing. Currently on Steam looking to be Greenlit, this game uses tidied-up Google Maps aerial photography to allow you to race through the streets of some of the world’s most famous cities.
Currently it’s in beta demo, which can be downloaded from their website (specifically here). So far it looks like only tracks that they have crafted out are available to play. Hopefully the dev team realise that a real draw to a game like this would be the ability to craft out your own circuit (like so many of us like to do).
Obviously, it’s top-down, and seems to play a lot like the classic Micro Machines games, and is also reminiscent of the first two Grand Theft Auto titles.
