ParticipantBest Driver: Webber. Smashed it in qualifying and controlled the race beautifully.
Worst Driver: Button
Best Team: Red Bull/Force India
Worst Team: McLaren; come on guys!
Best Overtake: Huh?
Best Funny- moment: When Felipe was on Fernando’s tail and lapping faster.
Most Surprising Result: Massa’s pace and Williams’ lack of pace. Also Webber not losing places at the start.
Least Surprising Result: Race over after turn 1
Special Mention to: Schumacher, a bit unlucky this weekend.
Race Rating: 6/1028th May 2012, 8:31 at 8:31 am #202339Ryan Williams
ParticipantBest Driver: Webber. Didn’t crack under the immense pressure from the guys behind him, and took a well deserved win
Worst Driver: Button
Best Team: Red Bull. Strategy was executed perfectly, Seb just missing out on the podium
Worst Team: Toro Rosso. Missed a great chance for some points by gambling in a good position. Should’ve left Vergne out
Best Overtake: Err….
Best Funny- moment: Riding on-board with Pastor’s flying Williams, the mass diving session into the Red Bull pool, and Kobayashi’s acrobatics into the first corner!
Most Surprising Result: Webber winning. Expected either Lewis, Nico or Romain to take it. Predicted Webber as 8th in my Castrol Edge predictions!
Least Surprising Result: Grosjean. Taken out yet again :(
Special Mention to: Massa. Drove a great race, and was even hounding Alonso in the early stages
Vergne. Race ruined by a silly strategy call by the team, he deserved better
Race Rating: 5/10, last 10 laps boosted up the score a bit!

BBC vs Sky: BBC
Best BBC/Sky commentator/presenter: Martin Brundle. Yet again providing the best commentary in the UK
Worst BBC/Sky commentator/ presenter: Simon Lazenby, for this incredibly distasteful “joke” http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2150707/Sky-F1-presenter-Simon-Lazenby-sparks-fury-bad-taste-joke-Princess-Grace-Monacos-death.html?ito=feeds-newsxml
Best Commentary moment: DC “Number twos are always more satisfying”
World feed rating: 7/10. I actually thought that the race director did okay today, especially since Monaco has a reputation for poor coverage quality. Nice that they stuck with the top 6 battle at the end28th May 2012, 11:21 at 11:21 am #202340Asanator
ParticipantBest Driver: Alonso – Hung back beautifully in the early stages to preserve tyres and get the Jump on Hamilton at the stops
Worst Driver: Button
Best Team: Red Bull
Worst Team: McLaren
Best Overtake: Ummm..there was only Perez wasn’t there?
Best Funny- moment: Any one of Hamilton’s moans down the radio
Most Surprising Result: Vettel getting the tyres to last and jumping a lot of cars ahead.
Least Surprising Result: McLarens form
Special Mention to: Schumacher for that Q3 lap and Massa.
Race Rating: 6/10BBC vs Sky: SKY
Best BBC/Sky commentator/presenter: Martin Brundle. Yet again providing the best commentary in the UK
Worst BBC/Sky commentator/ presenter: DC….The man has no shame, his bitterness and bias following Schumacher’s Q3 Lap was shocking, even Ben Edwards had to try and shut him up. The moment Schumacher set the pole time, Edwards went mad and coulthards first comment was “All hail Mark Webber the pole sitter!” I don’t think I’ll ever watch the BBC’s coverage again. ( I only watched it after the sky coverage for comparative purposes) The BBC’s coverage has truly become F1 for Dummies!!! :(
