Was watching one of the BBC F1 Rewind episodes today, i’d heard the old 80’s grid music before and thought I recognised it but never made the connection to The Neverending Story film from the 80’s! Here is the full length theme:
They should bring it back, for sure!
This is my absolute favourite one – it just evokes such wonderful memories, and I can hear Murray Walker and James Hunt’s voices reeling off the grids as I listen to it. Superb!
@stigrennfahrer Didn’t start watching F1 till 1995, would love to have seen the 80’s turbo era live! But I do remember the film, this version of the music wasn’t in the film but the melody is. Quite random but a great choice of music, just as perfect as The Chain!
