In case you are curious, here’s the 2013 season scored in the 9-6-4-3-2-1 system:
Red Bull: 190
Mercedes: 88
Ferrari: 87
Lotus: 84
McLaren: 12
ForceIndia: 6
Sauber: 7

So comparing the old scoring and the current one, there is just one difference in teams ranking.
Red Bull won 40% of all points, which makes it the 14th most dominant season. For comparison, the killer Senna-Prost combo of 1988 gathered 50% of all points, while Ferrari managed 48% (2002) and 47% (2004). Williams’ best score is 41% in 1996. Red Bull beat this year’s haul in 2011 (44%).
The other seasons more dominant than 2013 were in the 1950’s and very early 60’s.
