ParticipantLet’s try another TT course. Think, Isle of Man, but for cars. I want a course that is between 30-50km in length. It does not have to loop…start and finish can be in different places as long as there is a large car park nearby for staging/storage/etc. The only real guideline is that every inch of the course must be driveable and be wide enough for overtaking. Your location for this task is:

ParticipantThis thread has been moving pretty slow lately, so I think I’ll give this a full week. Plus, it’s kind of a long challenge.

Plenty of room for a pits/paddock area in the docks

Participant@Toti take it away! I liked how you had different challenges along the way. A lot of straight pieces. A lot of curvy pieces.

ParticipantThanks @rubaru!
The next challenge:
Design a street circuit in Palma de Mallorca!Rules:

-the width of the streets can be suitable for F17th June 2016, 14:07 at 2:07 pm #321684Jason
ParticipantI admit I had to look up where “Palma de Mallorca” is located…I have never heard of the place. Now that I see it, I am mesmerized by the possibilities! Thanks @toti!

Participant@toti What are your rules about modifications? Can I run through a sidewalk cafe, or take down some trees? I found lots of nice open streets but there are curbs and trees in the way. There are so many roads here only 6m wide! Frustrating!

ParticipantIf an entire street to be cut down trees, that’s not good. But if you have to cut down some trees because of a bend, this is acceptable. Also not to destroy statues or similar things.

– 4.2km, Clockwise, Somewhere between 19-22 turns, depending on how you count them.
– S/F and Pit lane along the harbor
– Feels like Singapore, but wider! This might make a really cool night race!10th June 2016, 7:25 at 7:25 am #321776VMaxMuffin

3.91km, clockwise, 15 turns by my count (although that does include some small kinks).
A few things to note:
1. According to street view, the area just to the north of the pits is still vacant, leaving room for garages.
2. There are some roads in the last bit of the map which I’ve used, because they exist now although they don’t show on satellite view.10th June 2016, 8:39 at 8:39 am #321779sam3110

A near 7km long epic, the pits can be built in the docks and there’s plenty of room for spectator stands
