Today some British politicians have requested the FIA to reconsider the decision of letting the Bahrain Grand Prix go ahead. I predict that this is going to be a hot dicussion point until the beggining of the season. And I’m getting sick of this things. If Bernie Ecclestone had something more than money in his mind, F1 would be far better.

    Anyway, here’s the link: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/97447

It’s a shame Bahrain, in my eyes a great track, however what happened is certainly still present especially in the current Government. However is it right to refuse an F1 race for a weekend, which should have nothing to do with politics however it obviously does!

It would be a shame in the sense that Bahrain is not a terrible circuit, and does produce overtaking (just not in 2010). But with the way things are at the moment, they probably shouldn’t race there this year. I think it would be dangerous for the sport to go, as well as the moral implications.
