Liuzzi to race V8 Supercar

    Vitantonio Liuzzi has been announced as one of the co-drivers for this years Gold Coast 600 in October. He will pair with V8 Supercar driver Tony D’Alberto in two 300km races on the streets of Surfers Paradise. The event will be held on the weekend between the Korean and Indian GPs.

    Tonio is joined by 27 other “International” drivers including:

    – Sebastien Bourdais

    – Christian Klien

    – Andy Priaulx

    – Stephane Sarrazin

    – Mika Salo

    – Ryan Briscoe

    – Will Power

    – Scott Dixon

    – Alex Tagliani

    – Jan Magnussen

    Oh man, I could punch Beattie every time he says Loowitzi. I don’t even care about Liuzzi but I just want to smash Beattie’s pudgy face every time. It’s like he does it deliberately, I mean the guys been racing for a few years now so it’s not like Beattie hasn’t been subjected to the right pronunciation time and time and time again…

    Lucas di Grassi has been announced as the final ‘International’ driver for next month’s Gold Coast 600.

    He will partner Jonathon Webb in the Mother Energy Falcon for the event which takes place between the Korean and Indian GPs on the weekend of October 21-23.

    That’s a good signing.

    It’s a pity they didn’t get some others who hang around the F1 paddock like Coulthard, Chandhok, Brundle, Alesi, Wurz, Gene, Kristensen etc.

    I suppose as long as Liuzzi and Di Grassi enjoy it, they may give some good word of mouth feedback for next year.
