    im pleased the sound is pretty good from what little we have to go on,, roll on jerez, then we should get a much better idea but at the moment its looking promising

    I like it. Lower-pitch, guttural, certainly not as bad as the naysayers were predicting, in my view.

    The annoying thing is, take a look at the comments on Youtube and there’s a ot of people complaining about the V6 as if they’ve never watched a race from the ’80s (i.e. Silverstone 1987) – as I think that this year’s engines sound quite a bit like those.

    In my view, hearing the sound of those old turbo engines live in a race with decent definition is the biggest improvement F1’s seen so far in the decade.
