    More answers

    – All drove in F1 at the same time they won F1
    – Drove for a team of the same nationality in F1 as the team they won Le Mans with

(ok, I sent out another reply which didn’t appear on the site, maybe it’s the fault of the Vivaldi browser I was trying out and now ditching)

Yes, obviously they are all Le Mans winners, but I’m looking for a more specific aspect of that. One of your answers is closer, but not there yet :)

@hunocsi Think a hint may be needed here!

Can’t give much more away without spoiling it… So the four drivers all winning Le Mans was already established, and they are the only ones to have achieved the thing that connects them.

The only drivers to win Le Mans and a Formula One Grand Prix in the same year?

Drivers who failed to win a race in a season when their teammate won the championship?

    2001 – Barrichello
    1990 – Berger
    2013 – Webber
    1986 – Keke Rosberg

    you! What links:

    James Hunt in 1976
    Ayrton Senna in 1989
    Michael Schumacher in 1994
    Lewis Hamilton in 2008

Is it something to do with losing wins due to driving infringements?

@brickles too easy! I’ll give you that, they were all stripped of race victories in those seasons, although Schumacher was DQ’d because of a technical infraction (too much wear on the plank in Belgium), unless there was another incident I’m forgetting about…

    Anyway, your turn!

    What connects these four drivers?

    Nigel Mansell
    Michael Schumacher
    Juan Pablo Montoya
    Takuma Sato

I’ll give a clue if people are struggling :)

It might’ve been the Number 92 if MSC had that number of wins (Mansell’s WDC was in ’92, Montoya graduated from karts in ’92 if Wikipedia is to be believed, and Sato had 92 entries in f1)
