I’d like note how many aspects of yesterday’s are worthy of praise.
Cheers for the straight line of safety progress started decades ago and advocated by Sir Jackie, among many many others. I think we can agree that yesterday’s turn one melee could have been deadly for driver, marshalls, and fans yesterday in any other era.
The racing was fantastic. Cheers to the working group that created these new regs. There have been few scraps like we saw from Ham, Alec, and Perez in any race…ever.
…and cheers for George Russell for doing what we all hope we would do when called upon to act in a crisis.
