After the very public criticism they have been getting from Red Bull, I can sympathise with Renault to a degree.
But as they have whined in the past of getting very little credit for winning 4 years running and beating Merc and Ferrari for so long, they only have themselves to blame for not reaping the benefits of that.
Their dopey marketing people failed to mention their F1 success in any adverts for the first 2 years. And they chose not to pay for bodywork coverage at all on the car (apart from a small hidden RENAULT script on the airbox and a yellow diamond on the drivers’ overalls) while allowing their own subsidiary Infiniti to plaster themselves everywhere.
So Renault, you reap what you sow.
