ParticipantI got two out of three correct but size of bets and slim odds mean a profit of just £7.37; though frankly I’m amazed to be above the £100 level – perhaps I should quit while I’m ahead? Nah, never been any good at that.
Bets so far:
Alonso to win championship: £40 at 11/4 (returning £150)
Raikkonen to win in Melbourne: £5 at 9/1 (returning £50)
Hamilton to be fastest qualifier: £5 at 7/1 (returning £40)Cash after Melbourne: £100
Grosjean to finish in top 6: £5 at 11/8 (returning £11.87)
Massa to finish on podium: £5 at 4/1 (£25)
Hulkenberg points finish: £5 at 11/10 (£10.50)Cash after Malaysia: £107.37

ParticipantLet’s do some for China:
Winning Constructor – Lotus: £6 at 11/2 (returning £39)
Hamilton to be fastest qualifier: £4 at 7/1 (£32)
Points finish – Adrian Sutil: £10 at 4/6 (£16.66)15th April 2013, 7:47 at 7:47 am #221002Penfold
ParticipantI was torn between Sutil and di Resta for that points finish bet, unfortunately went the wrong side. Still, good old Hamilton kept me in the black; total ‘profit’ for China of £12, taking my kitty to £119.37.
Anyone else still doing this?

ParticipantI meant to, then completely forgot. Been a weird weekend, lol. porbably for the best, becuase I need to have a serious look at my bets for Bahrain!

ParticipantHowdy. Here’s a nice early one for Bahrain:
Vettel to be fastest qualifier: £10 at 13/8 (returning £26.25)
Thinking Hamilton’s pole last week was just a tyre-related blip in Seb’s domination of the front row. I’ll add another bet or two after giving the matter some not particularly serious thought.

ParticipantI think I’ll have a bit of that!
Vettel fastest qualifier £10 @ 13/8 (£26.25 return)

ParticipantPirelli’s decision to abandon the softs for this weekend has to tip the balance further towards Vettel, so with that in mind:
Vettel to be fastest qualifier: £10 at 13/8 (returning £26.25)
Vettel to win in Bahrain: £7.50 at 13/5 (£27)25th April 2013, 8:25 at 8:25 am #221007Penfold
ParticipantNico on pole, didn’t see that one coming!
Vettel’s victory pushed me further into the black, taking my funds £9.50 higher to a surprisingly healthy £128.87. Just you watch me lose it all before the season ends….

ParticipantI’ve got £20 left. £20. gods.

ParticipantCan’t decide between Alonso & Kimi for the win so going the unusual route of backing them both.
Alonso to win in Spain: £10 @ 9/4 (returning £32.50)
Raikkonen to win in Spain: £8 @ 11/2 (£52.00)Love those odds for Kimi.

ParticipantLEts go all out: Alonso to win: £20 at 9/4 for a £65 return.

ParticipantHauled yourself off the canvas with that one! I added £14.50 to my funds, taking me to £143.37. This is going far better than I expected….
Thinking Lewis for pole in Monaco. Wonder what the odds will be like.

Somehow I think you’re on for the win here.

ParticipantCould be; on the other hand, should Kimi win the Championship then the guy on page 1 who wagered the lot on such an outcome will stroll it. Think the odds were 11/1.
Hmm, can get 5/2 for a Hamilton pole… good, but not quite as generous as I’d hoped. Waiting for William Hill to whack up their qualifying odds.
Edit: comprehensive WHill odds now up…
Hamilton for pole: £15 @ 5/2 (returning £52.50)
