In his usual post-race video interview Pirelli motorsport director Paul Hembery discusses the two punctures Felipe Massa suffered during the race.
Intriguingly, he mentions the identity of the driver whose debris caused the first puncture was “amusing” but doesn’t reveal who it was:
So whose was it?
22nd April 2013, 9:07 at 9:07 am #232428tonyyebParticipantWas it his own bits of his front wing?
22nd April 2013, 9:09 at 9:09 am #232429AnonymousInactiveWas it a shard from Alonso’s broken DRS?
Also, I want to know what form of racing that video is a computer simulation of, because it looks incredibly close and exciting.

22nd April 2013, 10:11 at 10:11 am #232431AnonymousInactiveThat’s plain stupid. If it was that amusing and nothing to be ashamed of, why we haven’t seen it yet?
22nd April 2013, 10:13 at 10:13 am #232432LemonParticipantIt must be Rubens Barrichello……. He was actually at the GP I recall…..
22nd April 2013, 11:38 at 11:38 am #232433PeteParticipantHamilton’s fault.
22nd April 2013, 11:53 at 11:53 am #232434BasCBParticipantCould it have been something off hamilton’s car? (With him saying something happened and suddenly the car felt good -what it that’s what happened, it would bring a wry smile to my face)
Other than that, could it have been some kind of team sunglasses or something?22nd April 2013, 12:28 at 12:28 pm #232435matt90ParticipantWhy on Earth won’t he say?
22nd April 2013, 23:19 at 11:19 pm #232436David-AParticipantSo whose was it?
Rubens Barrichello.

23rd April 2013, 5:35 at 5:35 am #232438andae23ParticipantLost yet another pair of sunglasses, this time on the grid. Hope that didn't cause Massa's tyre problems. Or maybe Niki nicked them ;))

23rd April 2013, 6:14 at 6:14 am #232439BasCBParticipantHa, that would really be “amusing” if Brundles sunglasses caused the problem @andae23!
23rd April 2013, 17:37 at 5:37 pm #232440RatboyKeymasterIt was cut at the top of the tyre – then the bottom, then top again, then bottom again and so on…..
23rd April 2013, 20:41 at 8:41 pm #232441Max JacobsonParticipant@andae23 – I really, really hope it was that! :D
