Weird bonnet scoops?

What is the go with these weird new bpnnet scoops, seems everyone except Mclaren has them> kicked up from the front wheels back? how can all the designers know they others will do them? I though car design was top secret? anywayI am keen to see awaiting the RB, see if Newey follows suit…Ugly
what scoop? You mean the bump? If you designed a car that basically reached max allowable height for everything forward of the cockpit; you’d basically get the Ferrari nose. Most teams are just doing that – designing the car at max height.
