Master firelee
ParticipantI’m sure Chilton would have liked to have 19.

Participant@blockwall2 So it is probably just me who associates 3 with Ukyo Katayama…

Participant@master-firelee – I am *sure* that Max Chilton will choose his number for self-deprecating reasons before any other.
No, I think it is more likely that he will choose #4, which I am told he used in karts; #23, which is his brother’s number in the WTCC; or either #16 or #61, both of which he used in British Formula 3. Every other number he has used in his career – #1 and #26 – are already taken.

Participant@geemac You most certainly are. Helio Castroneves is the most #3 associated driver in open-wheel racing. Not only does he race #3, he has won 3 Indy 500s

ParticipantWhile at Autosport International on Saturday, we saw Chilton mention during an interview that he had chosen a number that would ‘look good in his name’.
CHIL70N?

ParticipantThat could also be M4X.

ParticipantTurns out you’re right Dion!
So next year I will be racing with number 4 on my car! #M4X

ParticipantWhat’s wrong with it?

Participant2009, Max Chilton finishes 4th in British F3 and moves up to GP2 next year.
2012, Max Chilton finished 4th in GP2, and moves up to F1 next year.Anyone else see a pattern here?

Participant@prisoner-monkeys Well, he has all right to choose it, but him having the third lowest number on the grid.. it just feels wrong.

ParticipantWe’ll get used to it. No doubt it will be weird seeing numbers that haven’t been raced in twenty years or more.

ParticipantI keep reading this and thinking my name is being called…
It’s a massive problem with dog owners too.
