    The FIA’s biased, crazy, politically inspired (I can’t find enough adjectives…) superlicense points system has succeeded in bringing a great and competitive championship (with beautiful cars too) to a crisis situation. Considering even the F3 European Championship was rated much higher than FR3.5 and that pathetic WTCC was rated higher than DTM and even Formula Renault 2.0, is there any doubt about what the FIA is really made of? I never expected they would play such cheap and childish political games…

    I’m sad to see Renault go, but I’m pretty happy they’ve gone the way of finding a solution and/or new manufacturer immediately, rather than face into the abyss for too long. Superlicence points or not, it’s a good championship and drivers who win the title generally have been successful elsewhere, so perhaps over the years they’d still have gotten enough to get into F1 after the category.
