ParticipantHey everyone, I’m going to the race this year with a bunch of mates – all our first time.
We are staying in Malmedy – are there any shuttles to the circuit from there?
Also after the race we are going to Liege – again, are there shuttles going to there late in the day?

ParticipantHi everyone! This year me and my brother are looking forward to going to spa! We usually go to the italian circuit Monza, but this year we decided to buy a three day ticket for the belgian grand prix! We would like to know if there is the possibility to take part to the pit lane walk on Thursday with the 3 day ticket for the bronze area? And moreover we would like to know if it is gonna be an autograph session that day too? thank you so much,

Dont know about malmedy, but for liege walk up to francochamps(its the closest village to eau rouge/source) and get the bus to verviers(takes about 20 mins) which will drop you off at the train station and catch the train takes about 15 mins

ParticipantHi Guys and Girls,
Am new to the forum, my friend posts on here and he pointed me in this direction.
I have two sets of tickets for Spa, Friday, Saturday and Sunday x 2, which I won’t be able to use due to it clashing with another friends wedding, I’m best man so can’t exactly duck out. We looked into the possibility of flying into Liege late Saturday or early Sunday but its just not feasible to make it to the track in time :( I also have a deposit paid on a camp site spot for tent and one vehicle at a campsite 4k away, nice shower block etc. We were going to cycle in to the track but you could walk it I suppose.
If there is anyone on here that could use these tickets i’m open to offers, the tickets have been delivered to my house and I am based on the Wirral between Liverpool and Chester, or I could post them recorded. I would have ebayed them but apparently they don’t support ticket sales, and stubhub doesn’t recognise the event? Just seems a shame for them to be wasted.
Anyway, if anyone has an questions please ask,
Cheers,

ParticipantAlessandra – yes – bronze/silver/gold all eligible for pit lane walk on Thurs.
My second time to Spa this year; camping at the yellow site and taking our bikes. Camped at elephant last time but too far from the circuit in my view – hard to beat Monza and Hockenheim for that sort of thing.
Getting the ferry at 1am on Thurs to arrive at the yellow site first thing and choose our pitch, sitting in Gold 4.
Look out for a black BMW 320d with circuit stickers on the rear!

ParticipantI was at the race in 2012 and had a (first row!) seat at Eau-Rouge. I sat there during the F1 sessions, but a tip for you all would be to visit the bus-stop chicane and watch the support races there, especially GP2. The stopping power and glowing brakes are one of the most impressive aspects of those cars. Well worth your time. Have fun guys! :)

ParticipantHi all!!
I´ll attend my 2nd Gp in my life (last one, Spain 2005! Best Qualyfing spot for both Minardis). Unfortunately, my original full weekend´s plan is hindered by my new job, and instead of going from Spain, easily, all booked… I´ll have to drive from Munich, and just for Saturday and Sunday :(
This is exciting!!! Can´t wait to listen and see the cars running !!!!
See you over there!!

InactiveReady for the second half of the season to get going. Will be with my other half in one of the La Source Grandstands.
Weather is looking o.k. at the moment, if it rains we’ll be conspicuous in our fetching Union Jack Ponchos :).
Hope everyone going enioys the race and has a good time. Good to hear you can pick up English commentary on the circuit radio.

ParticipantHi all
What was that about picking up English commentary on the circuit radio? Do I need to download a Spa app or is it accessed via the web on local wifi?I was going to upgrade my Official F1 app to access the live commentary but is not clear if this feature works outside of the UK
Any advice would be welcomed!
Have given up trying to monitor the weather forecast. Yesterday it was thunderstorms on race day today it is bright sunshine! I suspect we will be treated to a little of everything, fortunately I splashed out on the Gold 3 covered grandstand but I do plan to move around on Friday and Saturday.
Not long now!!!

Participant@ colin 5107 you may receive radio via a radio built into your ear protectors. there is no free wifi at the track
The app will work in belgium but without wifi it will require too much data
I would not trust the weather forecast during the 24 hours of Spa the weather forcast said it would stop raining at 1 pm the rain stopped at 9 pm.

ParticipantThanks Mark – ear protectors with built in radio, is that something that is on sale at the track? They had them at Silverstone but there was nothing like that at Austin.

ParticipantWe re coming along to spa this weekend, really looking forward to it now! Staying with f1 camping, this is our first time and it seems that Pouhon is the place to go for general admission. If anyone has stayed at f1 camping before do you know what entrance the bus takes you to?
