Silverstone says ticket sales for next year’s British Grand Prix are already up by 7% compared to this year. Perhaps that’s the beneficial effect of having a home race winner, or it could be read as one in the eye for those who say quieter engines are turning people off F1.

Either way if you want to take advantage of their ‘early bird’ ticket offers you better get your skates on:

Silverstone has heralded this year’s Formula 1 Santander British Grand Prix as one of the best and most successful in years, and it would appear that fans are in agreement. Following a hugely successful 50th Grand Prix, which attracted Silverstone’s third-highest Race Day crowd and saw British winner Lewis Hamilton take the chequered flag on home soil for the first time since 2008, F1 fans have been racing to book their tickets for next year’s event.

First week ticket sales for the 2015 Formula 1 British Grand Prix are up seven per cent compared with the same sales period in 2013. Richard Phillips, Silverstone’s Managing Director, puts the success of the first week down to a fantastic British Grand Prix weekend, and the circuit’s ‘Early Bird’ incentive offer, which presents savings of up to £36 per person.

The ‘Early Bird’ offer is available for a limited time only at http://www.silverstone.co.uk, or through the Silverstone Call Centre on 0844 3728 300.
