I cannot think of a driver in any category who has caused so many stupid driving infringements in a single race for a very long time… Maldonado at Belgium in 2012 probably comes close but I’m sure that Canamasas went much further here.
Buxton says in his article that drivers intend to sign a petition by Sochi that they won’t race as long as Canamasas is on the grid. Very interesting!
@craig-o I’m confident that Verstappen will be an exception rather than a rule, as only Lance Stroll is in a position to jump up rapidly and that includes his father buying Sauber. Verstappen’s 17 is most other people’s 19 (and this includes champions like Alonso and Vettel..). Max has both parents as F1 level racers – most racing kids only have one. There’s a legitimate argument over which parent was better – his mum has beaten Jarno Trulli, World Karting Champion before in karts!
