@andae23 – It has gills!

Honestly, I’m not a fan. The back end looks like it’s been compressed and just a bit off to me, but if it improves the racing in GP3, I’m not going to complain!

It looks pretty good. The cooling inlets and outlets around the sidepod looks a bit.. messy, but overall a pretty nice car.

I wonder with all this asphalt being laid around all the tracks, whether Bernie owns a bitumen factory somewhere in Europe, it might explain all this new run off area.

For this year’s race asphalt has been laid on the inside of the corner approaching the chicane, and it has been painted with ‘non-slip’ paint.

Presumably the thinking is that would have given Tereschencko a better chance of controlling the car and preventing it hitting the kerbs and being launched.

Formula Renault 3.5 driver Beitske Visser will drive for Trident at Spa this weekend (alongside Ghiotto who was in that championship last year):

Christopher Hoher will make his debut with Campos this weekend in place of Samin Gomez.

Morris has been coming up for a few years now, usually top 3 in every series he contested.

Ocon, Kirchhoefer, Fuoco – the GP3 podium just got a lot more full of talent. They might all hold a 2016 super-licence..

I’m getting a bit worried about GP3 this year. If Ocon goes to ART as the rumor mill seems to place him, that’s still only going to leave him, Fuoco, and Palou as the absolute standout talents this season.

Part of that also has to do with European Formula 3 being so stacked with top talent that they may end up with 12-14 different race…[Read more]
