KeymasterFelipe Massa’s annual karting tournament is due to take place this weekend (10th-12th).
Jules Bianchi is the only active driver besides Massa participating in this year’s race as he bids to defend his 2013 victory.
A further eight ex-F1 drivers will appear – they are Rubens Barrichello, Bruno Senna, Vitantonio Liuzzi, Lucas di Grassi, Nelson Piquet Jnr, Luciano Burti, Antonio Pizzonia and Ricardo Zonta.
Also in the field are Felipe Nasr (GP2), Augusto Farfus (DTM), Bia Figueiredo (aka Ana Beatriz, IndyCar) and Luiz Razia (nearly F1…).

ParticipantNice! Always a great field for this one.. and besides Bianchi and di Grassi, the best of Brazilian…

KeymasterAs you will have noticed Alonso is not on the list. Last year he said: “Will I be back next year? If Felipe asks me, definitely.” So we can take a guess at what happened there!

ParticipantIn the driver list, Felipe Nasr’s an F1 driver…do they know something we don’t?
On the other hand, they’ve spelt his name wrong.
Looking forward to this – any racing’s welcome at this time of year. UK race times seem to be 11.45pm Sat & 1pm Sun.

ParticipantThe race gets under way in 5 minutes (Race 1 was rained off last night). Interesting driver parade with 5 drivers on each quad bike!

ParticipantWas it just me or did Pietro Fittipaldi get properly blocked (and battered) a few times in that video? I know it’s all for fun but hey…

ParticipantHere’s Rubens Barrichello’s race from his helmet camera. His race was ruined by a puncture, but early on he was in among the leading bunch. Look out for Buemi (117) coming past 3 of them in one move!
