I do, but not as much as when I first got it. After I beat the campaign on regular difficulty, I slowed down quite a bit. I didn’t replay this one nearly as much as I did with the first. That said, I was really into the game for a long time, and it’s great fun playing split-screen/multiplayer with friends.

I used Axton to start, and he’s pretty much the same as Roland in the first one. Zer0 is interesting, but doesn’t fit my style of gameplay… I preferred Mordecai (sniper/pistol specialist) from the first one. I haven’t played with the Siren, but it seemed pretty cool since my roommate used that class. I did buy the Mechromancer class, and I found that one to be really cool (kinda like having Bloodwing, but better).

This game is a bit more frustrating in that there are some enemies which are really difficult or annoying, like

@steevkay Same here. Sometimes I need a break from F1 and I really enjoy this game and not as terrible at it as I am in Halo 4. I used Zero for my first and most of second playthrough. Then I stopped playing for awhile and am now back into it again and very intrigued with Axton. I do think he’s an improvement over Roland and he appeals more to my style than Zero does. The Siren is cool although I haven’t used her yet. Friends I play with regularly both enjoy her. This game is definitely better playing multiplayer even if it’s harder. The Mechromancer is pretty cool too and would like to start a campaign with it.

I find the game more difficult than the first one. You’re right as it seems there are more badass type enemies in a group compared to the previous one.

Playthrough 2 (True Vault Hunter Mode) is alot harder and I’m definitely in Fight for your life mode much more often. It’s still a great game though.

What style did you play with Axton? Did you go for the double turrets, or double sabres on one turrey? A new DLC should be coming out in March I believe that will upgrade the level cap of 50 by I think 16 – 19 levels. Similar to the first borderlands, to level 69 I think.

@Paulocreed I went for the two guns on the single turret, plus I have that little shield that pops up with it. I don’t remember the names of the skill trees off the top of my head, but it was the left and right skill trees, with a couple of points in the center tree (that first skill which increases gun damage).

The beefed up single turret w/ two guns is AWESOME. It does slag damage, so it really help to kill badass enemies, since you’re not required to switch between a slag gun and a different type. I have all the upgrades possible for the single turret, minus the accuracy upgrade, and it does well for playing solo or in multiplayer. I’m a bit more of a Rambo-type player when it comes to shooters: run in with guns blazing and shoot anything that moves (which is why I’m rubbish at those Rainbow Six-style games).

I’m only at lvl 46, still working my way through the True Vault Hunter mode. I’ll probably end up getting the DLCs at some point, but the regular game is fine for now. Once I’m lvl 50, I’ll probably start using more of my gold keys, I have over 30 as it is now, although now that you mention an increase in the level cap, maybe I’ll have to wait a bit longer.

@steevkay That’s the same way I’m doing Axton. The double turrets seems to be more popular but I prefer the two guns on the single turret. I don’t remember all the skill names either but the double turret is on the left side tree and the shield is on the right side skill tree. There is also one that lowers the cooldown time of the turret on the right side.

I tend to play the same way in shooters lol.

I’m at lvl 30 with Axton. But I have Zero at lvl 42. I’ve missed alot of code days and only have around 8 keys and waiting till max lvl to get better equipment. There is also a way to use an unlimited amount of keys.

I think I’m going to wait till a game of the year edition comes out with all the DLC as that will be cheaper than getting the DLC even with the season pass I think.

    I have Halo 4 but I haven’t played it yet – I might give that a try.

Battlefield games are all great with the exception of the latest Battlefield 3 which is trying to emulate Call of Duty. Battlefield 1943 is an incredible game – I highly recommend it to anyone.

You really should play halo 4, it’s really fun. I just suck at playing it multiplayer/competitively. But it’s real easy to just pick up and play. Learning curve isn’t that big.

I have played battliefied before, I forget which one on PC. It was really good. The only thing I have closest to it is COD Modern Warfare 3. Which I haven’t played much of.

    @Paulocreed

Thanks, I’ll check Halo out. I’m sure I’ll be cannon fodder in the multiplayer:-)

Well, if you have played and liked Battlefield (and how could anyone not?), then you should give BF1943 a chance. It’s an arcade game which makes it affordable but it is a full blown game engine. It only comes with 3 maps but they are probably the best multiplayer maps ever made.

You can also download the demo and check it out which I think has a time limit on special servers.
