What were the best races you watched in 2019?

As another season of motorsports draws to a close I’m interested to know what championships you felt produced the best action this year. Have you been following F1, F2 or F3? IndyCar or NASCAR? Any touring car championships? And what did you think of WEC or Formula E this year?

To be fair I didn’t watch much motorsport outside of F1 and MotoGP, but I did catch yesterday’s WTCR finale (it was kind of obligatory as a Hungarian) at Sepang in the rain at night, and it was really entertaining. Especially the first half of the final race, with the two title contenders (Michelisz and Guerrieri) starting from the first row and two chargers (Azcona and Kristofferson, the latter starting from 22nd and winning) mixing it with them. It’s a shame that Guerrieri suffered a problem after he was forced off and the title battle was over, but I was delighted for Michelisz winning the championship.
