Hello everyone and welcome to RaceFans Live for a brand new season of Formula E!
Hello everyone, hi Keith!
Go Felix da Costa!!!
Fascinating to see the Mercedes drivers qualifying so well on the team’s debut – only Sims keeping them from pole. Here’s the qualifying report:
Probably a lot of energy conservation going on at the moment but Vandoorne and De Vries having no problems holding on to Sims.
I’m really enjoying this race; this feels like how the Gen2 cars should have always run. Close, fast, efficient racing but without ridiculous collisions.
Does feel a lot more like a ‘normal’ race than what we had last year. Battling coming together nicely at the front.
Great restart by Bird, he should be home free now.
And sure enough he was – here’s the race report: https://www.racefans.net/2019/11/22/bird-wins-season-opener-as-porsche-and-mercedes-claim-debut-podiums/
Poor Jerome and Mahindra racing.
What was Evans doing there? Also poor Mahindra both cars out.
Gunther on podium out of nowhere.
FE is back to its chaotic self after more calculated racing yesterday.
I can’t see the race anywhere on TV or online… Eurosport is not showing it live in my country and YT live stream is not available because Eurosport has the rights.
What happened to Werhlein?
He hit Sam Bird who was slowing due to damage caused by Evans and Bird coming together. There was damage to Wherliens car and he had to pit.
Grrrr…. Indeed, I think it was on earlier but here in the US I’ve seen zero promotion, don’t have a clue which channel shows it, (Fox?) they should hire the Premier League’s publicity company, NBCS have done a stellar job growing the sport over here.
It was typical messy FE race.
Hello everyone and welcome to RaceFans Live for today’s Formula E race from Mexico City.
Big hit for Muller – look like he’s OK though.
I enjoy the unpredictably of FE. let’s face it F1 result is set in stone again. so Congratulations to Lewis for sticking around long enough to match Schumacher’s record. And well done everyone at Mercedes for being British and not Italian.
Another lively Formula E race – here’s the race report from Hazel in Mexico:
