Perez did his job of being a wingman to Verstappen. Held off Hamilton for most of the race and was in position to capitalize on the mistakes of his rivals to claim victory.
I don’t think it goes back to 0; there’s like a fresh 5 points slapped on for good measure that expires 12 months later. Just to keep a banned driver on probation of sorts.
