Vettel got on with the job and won the race.
Kimi put in a great drive on Sunday and I like him a lot, but you can’t ignore his qualifying performance, and he also missed the opportunity to win the race.

Looks like a fairly distinct divide down the middle, with Mclaren, RB, Ferrari, Merc, FIndia and Lotus a bit ahead of the pack.
Mclaren looks best all round, and you get the feeling Red Bull haven’t quite […]
adzz36 commented on the post, Who will win the battle of the team mates in 2012? 9 years, 7 months ago
Most of them pick themselves. The best battles will be at Mclaren and Force India and potentially Mercedes.
I went for Vettel, Hamilton, Alonso, Rosberg, Raikkonen, Di Resta, Perez, Senna, Ricciardo, […]

I just read the analysis on the Sky Sports website and it sounds as if we’ve got a really good season in store. As long as Red Bull haven’t been sandbagging all pre season.
They reckon, with good reasoning that […]
I can understand why people are sad to see Williams take on another “pay driver” but lets be honest, they have no choice. The team has been under-performing for the best part of a decade now and they can no longer […]
It looks like a done deal, it’s all over twitter. I think Senna deserves one last chance. If you can write off Senna’s potential on his 2010 performance in the HRT, then you have to rule out the potential of […]
adzz36 commented on the post, Who should get the last two places in F1 for 2012? 9 years, 9 months ago
Sutil @ Williams, Alguersauri @ HRT, then hopefully we can get rid of Trulli, Webber, de la Rosa, Maldonado after 2012.
But where’s the benchmark? Alguersauri was the better driver last year, overall, so if they wanted somebody better, why not bring one rookie in and see how they fare against an existing driver, let alone having a […]
Also, Red Bull don’t need a full team as part of their driver development program any more. If they want a top class driver in the event that Seb leaves at any time in the next decade, Lewis Hamilton, Nico […]
Idiocy. I really feel for Buemi, but mostly Alguersauri. They’ve both done enough to stay in F1, but I thought Jaime was getting to the point where he’d be looking at breaking into a higher team, not getting […]
Best moments of the season:
*Jenson Button passing Sebastien Vettel on the last lap in Canada.
*Lewis Hamilton winning in Abu Dhabi after a tough season.
*Seeing Petrov and Heidfeld on the podium.

Webber did mention after the race in an interview that he could smell the oil from Vettel’s gearbox when he got close behind him… I’m surprised that hasn’t been mentioned before now. Anyone who thinks a man who […]
