@aliced that’s why if it’s not paved it has to be punitive. Like rumble strips or preferably molten lava.
@aliced Why blame them though? They didn’t bend the rules to achieve that advantage. The extent of their advantage meant they could focus on reliability and later on aero and resolving tyre issues that had […]
Honestly, I think Wolff lost the plot when making these statements. He clearly looks as Russell as his asset, a sidelined member of Team Mercedes, instead of looking at him at what his current standing […]
Indeed @aliced. Thankfully those underfunded and teams traditionally devoid of power such as Ferrari for example now might have a chance.
@aliced True, the very very last thing VB wanted, expected, and needed, was to be passed by a Williams, let alone that of George’s.

@aliced Yes sick to death of woke, but I don’t find FE particularly woke. It’s just the green thing AFAIK, but maybe there’s something I don’t know? It’s not like drivers are there because of their body or […]

I guess that is partially true in the sense that we are supposed to celebrate or even admire something second rate just because it is different (‘diverse’).

@aliced So what you are saying is that the Commission should only do this if it covers every race across the world. And if they can’t cover every race they should not bother. How would that be possible or […]
@aliced might also want to consider with some empathy that melatonin doesn’t define the problem, perhaps by looking at the experiences of people like the Houthi, Rohinga & Hutu (among a long list where racist […]
@aliced If your point is that people should not see skin colour, as in, should not factor that in to anything, that is indeed the ideal and what the world needs to head towards, and what the likes of LH are […]
Ferrari still spends more than Mercedes on its F1 program.. Although you wouldn’t have guessed that looking at where they finished in 2020. Guess money can’t buy championships for everyone

@aliced God knows where you got that opinion from. Renault bet on V4, Ferrari and Merc wanted V6. Audi/Porsche was also part of the process and wanted V6s. They all had the same opportunity it just so happened […]
it was Renault that mainly pushed for the hybrids and Ferrari pushed for 6 rather than 4 cylinders

@aliced I personally don’t think of it as who has the upper hand. This is a family we are talking about. They’ll come to a friendly and amicable agreement imho. Of course MB is the boss, but they garner so much […]

@aliced That’s the W series format more or less except all the cars are identical. Each driver drives each chassis once.

@aliced We will know who’s adapts to a different car most quickly, and which cars are easiest to adapt to, nothing else.
Other aspects of drivers and cars are much more important than that.

@aliced Really? You think the effect everybody was hoping for was “Please let’s have less overtaking”?
Also, normally it’s not so much the Mercedes that needs to do the overtaking. So …
