I think we will see a mix between the two there. I have read Russia wants to shift to its later season slot (like 2014) again, so we will probably see that. The French Grand Prix is thought to be in “late June to mid July” (http://en.f1i.com/news/270197-french-gp-set-mid-year-date-2018.html).
Azerbaijan will probably be shifted in the early season slot where Russia is now, Russia will be moved where Malaysia is now. France will be placed where Azerbaijan is this year with the returning German GP falling in after Hungary.
I think we will see some major changes for the 2019 calendar with Sean Bratches wanting to have a region based calendar. 2018 is just too early to make that happen.A prediction:
1. 16-18 March: Australian GP
2. 30 March-1 April: Chinese GP
3. 13-15 April: Bahrain GP
4. 27-29 April: Azerbaijan GP
5. 11-13 May: Spanish GP
6. 24-27 May: Monaco GP
7. 8-10 June: Canadian GP
8. 22-24 June: Austrian GP
9. 29 Jun-1 Jul: French GP
10. 13-15 July: British GP
11. 20-22 July: German GP
12. 17-19 August: Hungarian GP
13. 24-26 August: Belgian GP
14. 7-9 September: Italian GP
15. 14-16 September: Russian GP
16. 28-30 September: Singapore GP
17. 5-7 October: Japanese GP
18. 19-21 October: United States GP
19. 26-28 October: Mexican GP
20. 9-11 November: Brazilian GP
21. 23-25 November: Abu Dhabi GP22nd June 2016, 0:33 at 12:33 am #323199AmbroseRPMParticipantFirst question is it signed? That puts the value up a fair bit.
Doing some looking, I found that a Alonso 2010 Ferrari visor is worth £349.99. I would think a Verstappen first win visor would be worth similar.
I would consider perhaps holding on to this exceedingly rare item, it was used in his first win and if he is a legend someday (Schumacher-esque perhaps) a visor from his first win could be worth thousands.
It is a special item people will want, I’m sure that if you do want to sell it (I would not personally), I’m just assuming you may, it would not be too hard.
Congratulations on winning the visor, it may be an especially special piece of F1 memorabilia in the future!

Button missed the 2015 Bahrain Grand Prix race because his car wouldn’t work.

7th January 2016, 0:57 at 12:57 am #311177AmbroseRPMParticipantIt does really depend on the feeling they want on their coverage.
I can imagine they may want to use a very modern song, using OFCOM research they have the younger demographic of the 5 main channels (BBC 1, BBC2, ITV, C4, C5)14th October 2015, 5:09 at 5:09 am #307083AmbroseRPMParticipantI do recommend going on the Thursday. I found it lots of fun and it gives you some experience around the grounds so on Friday you know where you are going. It is also good to practice your commute to the track on the Thursday if you are unsure. (I did get lost that day so it helped me for the next three days). The V8 Supercars Practice and Qualifying is interesting and you can get very close to their garages if you are interested.
Daniel, I am guessing if you have the ‘Silver GP advantage’. There is a pit walk on the Thursday morning which is rather interesting. Also certain areas are GP advantage only (bars etc.) which is nice.
Hopefully I can make it to the GP from Sydney this year. I just have to convince someone else…😟
28th September 2015, 14:47 at 2:47 pm #306265AmbroseRPMParticipantWe can cross Perez off the list too, he rolled in FP1 in Hungary, Gutierez has too (assuming he is a Haas driver, he counts). Has Button or Raikkonen?
12th September 2015, 8:52 at 8:52 am #305046AmbroseRPMParticipantYeah, Sky will never use The Chain. It connects with the BBC coverage of F1 so no other broadcaster would try it.
I like the Immigrant Song, hopefully someone from Sky is here listening to us :)
12th September 2015, 8:07 at 8:07 am #305041AmbroseRPMParticipantDefinitely Keith that song would work very well for Formula E- being all electric.
11th September 2015, 13:57 at 1:57 pm #305006AmbroseRPMParticipantI was even thinking of ‘Say My Name’ by Peking Duk. I could see Sky doing something with that.
7th September 2015, 1:55 at 1:55 am #304676AmbroseRPMParticipantVerstappen on Button. Was great racing from both drivers, Jenson tried his hardest but Max persisted. Button has been great lately, hasn’t he?
25th July 2015, 5:27 at 5:27 am #302380AmbroseRPMParticipantAlthough this never materialised I like the sound of McLaren-Lamborghini. I don’t know why but McLaren-Honda will start looking a lot better when they start winning!
