Instead of “terrific impacts” it should say “terrifying impacts”. -

Does anyone know when Parc Ferme starts? Before Qualifying or Sprint Qualifying? If it’s before “The Sprint”, does that mean teams can have a pure quali setup on friday and race setup for the races? Otherwise FP2 […]

Andrew commented on the post, Why Mercedes floundered in conditions that needed 'a car which kills its tyres' 2 years, 6 months ago
Thanks you to whoever decided to resurface the Istanbul Park track and to Pirelli for bringing tyres that are way too hard. I don’t remember the last time F1 was so exciting to watch as todays qualifying, […]

A championship is worthless if you have by far the fastest car and you’re teammate is obviously banned from challenging you

Andrew commented on the post, F1 will be sweltering at the Red Bull Ring 3 years, 11 months ago
So the only hope of not having another boring Merc 1-2 is that maybe their tires will fall apart?
That gave me an interesting idea how tires can be used as success ballast:
What if you gave the top 3 finishers […] -

If Alonso goes to Indycar I would be interested in watching that at least as much as F1

It would have been easier to say “putting Lance in our car would be sub-optimal”

Seems like there hasn’t been a higher demand for a talented driver vs a pay driver then right now at RPFI. They know they have a quick car and can outscore quite a few teams by the end of the year and also know […]

You might sound a bit crazy but you’re not the only one who at least sometimes thinks the f1 rules are made to have boring races on purpose, if you consider modern f1 is racing to begin with. The points you have […]

@regs
I didn’t hear anything about that. Can you be more specific? Was is it something like not getting enough heat into the tyres like Raikkonen sometimes has with the fronts (in Sochi quali i think)? -

Does anyone know if Toro Rosso could get a 2016 engine at some point next season? I remember seeing something about that but can’t recall for sure.

See it’s not as bad as some were saying. I’m pleased to hear that a driver can push as hard as he can, at least during the last stint. -

Couldn’t all the teams stay in Brazil for few more days until the circuit is dry and then do a proper tyre test? They could ship the extra parts they need (extra engines, gearboxes, etc) or want (parts they want […]

A one-stop was never possible for Mercedes and Spa showed why. But in Monza they showed that they have become much better at managing the tires and avoiding the cliff (at least on hard and medium tires). Well […]

Andrew commented on the post, Harder Spa tyres will let drivers "push hard" – Pirelli 10 years, 9 months ago
I wish the FIA would get rid of DRS at Spa. It’s so much better to watch drivers try to overtake anywhere they can and work for it, not wait for the DRS zone and press a button.
Also – I think most other races […]
