andy.price commented on the post, "Lost all respect for the FIA" – Hamilton endorses fan's view on Vettel ruling 5 years, 11 months ago
This incident was, in my opinion, outrageous behaviour by Vettel and I was pleased to hear that the FIA were looking at this and then they take no further action. This type of behaviour does not set a good […]

Is it possible that Bernie is actually ill?

andy.price commented on the post, Alonso to miss Bahrain Grand Prix after medical checks 7 years, 2 months ago
Is this a sign of how bad things are at McLaren? Surely they must have realised that this might occur, but it would appear not as Alonso’s replacement is flying in from Japan at the last minute! That can hardly […]

andy.price commented on the post, Should Mercedes or Ferrari give Red Bull engines? 7 years, 7 months ago
Red Bull never mentioned Renault when they were winning then when there is a problem they bad mouth them constantly. You reap what you sow! I suggest they ask Honda!

andy.price commented on the post, Why F1 should adopt the WEC's ban on grid girls 8 years, 2 months ago
I think I feel the need to support Keith here. This is a great website and he raises relevant issues frequently and this one certainly merits being raised and discussed. I agree with him but it’s clear that we […]

andy.price commented on the post, Manor run for the first time in Malaysia 8 years, 2 months ago
Bernie has decided to withhold money because Manor did not run in Australia – I suppose that is just about right. However, sending them a bill for the ‘free’ transport costs – come on FOM, what are you thinking? […]

andy.price commented on the post, Should engine performance in F1 be equalised? 8 years, 2 months ago
Mercedes have an advantage – well done them. Will it harm F1? – possibly in the short term. But we did not hear demands in the past from Williams and others to level the playing field in this way, except as […]

Thought she was a lawyer, which if I’m right makes this situation even more puzzling.

Because the decision may not have been made! In any case you do not have the ‘right’ to know!!!!!

andy.price commented on the post, Should Honda be barred from updating their engine? 8 years, 4 months ago
This is unfair on every level. It is another FIA shambles and just begging for a legal challenge. The whole approach taken by FOM and FIA appears to discourage new entries and I cannot see why a new manufacturer […]

andy.price commented on the post, Marussia has closed, administrators confirm 8 years, 7 months ago
McLaren have a huge budget and they have not won much recently. Williams have a much more limted budget and they seem to be doing pretty well. Lots of money does not equal guarenteed success – Ferrari have more […]

andy.price commented on the post, Marussia has closed, administrators confirm 8 years, 7 months ago
I have no idea whether or not Caterham and Marussias business model was good or bad. Any team coming into F1 must be prepraed to work forwards on the grid and recognise that it will take time to get there.
It […]

andy.price commented on the post, Marussia denies "deeply upsetting rumours" over Bianchi crash 8 years, 7 months ago
Like most people who saw the Japanese GP I realised that something very serious had occured because there were no pictures, and having seen the fan video – I understand why. However, there is always speculation, […]

andy.price commented on the post, Should F1 use standing starts for restarts? 8 years, 11 months ago
Why not wait until the track is clear and ready to go – at the end of the lap let the cars form up on the grid in running order (how complicated can that be for these clever chaps?) once all stationery reds lights and go!

Two races I would expect to attend this year, Knockhill – near my home and Donnington – near my parents. Guess what? – holidays already booked that prevent both. However my wife has booked a hospitality package at Silverstone!!!
