Andy W commented on the post, Red Bull lose appeal against Ricciardo's Australian Grand Prix disqualification 8 years, 9 months ago
I assume at some point in the sports past someone has *SUCCESSFULLY* launched an appeal against a stewards decision but for the life of me I can’t remember a single time it has happened.

Out of interest can anyone remember any team winning an appeal?

The only way Lewis could beat Nico was to break him as a driver…
Nico had the ‘faster car’ and the better tires (ergo the faster car).
Superb driving by both drivers, fantastic racing and today Lewis was […]

actually I wouldn’t say it was identical at all… It was raining when Lewis did it, Kimi was on the wrong tires and much slower, and oh… yeah I remember he gave the place back before… ahhh Yeah now I see what […]

Did he hold Jenson up?
No.
Did he obey team instructions?
Yes.
Did he break and of the sports rules?
No.
Did he so by giving me a great laugh as he overtook Seb and went off after Alonso, whilst […]

That was a superb overtake, but I think his one on Senna was even better.

Lets be real here, an F1 race held in my bathtub would be more exciting than Valencia…

Nope, not sure. I do rate Vitally as a driver, and think that he has potential… and in the right car… who knows… but otherwise I think their are better drivers on the grid.

Or maybe both….
Petrov has demonstrated skill and speed, maybe he isn’t WDC material but he is certainly podium and race win capable given a car good enough to get there.
Andy W commented on the post, Hulkenberg in, Sutil out at Force India for 2012 11 years, 1 month ago
I am happy for Force India because I think its right for the team to bring in new blood and that it is time for Adrian to move on… Unfortunately he should be moving onwards and upwards and isn’t.
Adrian to me […]

You do realise that in F1 the driver who wins the drivers championship is actually a combination of driver and car?
Sebastian could only drive the car that Red Bull and Adrian Newey gave him and he did so […]
Andy W commented on the post, Who should drive for Force India in 2012? 11 years, 2 months ago
I have thought for a couple of seasons that Sutil needs to change teams to progress his career, I would love to see him take Massa’s seat at Ferrari and would even suggest a straight swap… Massa might have the […]
Andy W commented on the post, Was Vettel's 'gearbox problem' team orders in disguise? 11 years, 2 months ago
I was curious about the body language of both drivers and their behaviour towards each other (or lack of it) after the race and in the press conference.
Not claiming to be any expert or doing anything beyond a […]

Tyres aren’t really an issue for Massa as he didn’t set his fastest lap on them, he did that on his previous run if I remember correctly.
Hamiliton had a puncture in Q2 in Suzuka.

Yet which was one was more familiar with the car?
Ricciardo has shown impressive form in the few races he has had, Narain sadly has never shown any and as for Liuzzi… he has had his chances…
I suspect […]
