    Sorry, didn’t work. I first copied the “document.cookie…” code to the clipboard, then I opened Live Timing and registered, then I pressed F12, pasted the code, and pressed Enter. This is what I got:

    XML Parsing Error: syntax error Location: https://www.formula1.com/bin/fom-website/login_status Line Number 1, Column 1:

    I note it refers to Login Status. Maybe because I am not a paid member, I just have the free features like Leaderboard and Live Commentary, but not the premium content tabs Lap Chart, Speed, and Tyres.

    Thanks for the effort you’ve put in, but I’m giving up now.

    Here are step by step screen shots of what I did.

    I note the F12 window on your screen shot has the heading
    “Developer Tools – Live Timing – URL”
    which mine doesn’t. Is this significant?

    When I first tried it I pasted the URL into the bottom of the console tab, i.e.

    https://gist.github.com/tomchiverton/546631228075800f1eb08f2edb1e4637

    Then I realised you actually want us to go to the link and paste what is there. So I tried again and pasted…

    document.cookie=document.cookie.replace(‘subscriptionStatus%22%3A%22inactive%22′,’subscriptionStatus%22%3A%22active%22’) ; document.location.reload()

    …and pressed ENTER. Still no dice.

    I tried with Microsoft Edge browser which I never use. Also doesn’t seem to work.

    I tried multiple times. F12 – Console – Paste link at bottom where it says >>> – press Enter – nothing happens – reload Live Timing – still nothing – reboot computer – still nothing.
