Justin commented on the post, Vettel leads Hamilton by 0.003s at end of testing 4 years, 2 months ago
Worth keeping in mind Vettel set his time in the morning, Hamilton in the afternoon so there’s a track temp/rubbered in variable to keep in mind.
Definitely set for an exciting opener!

Side pods are definitely tighter, but have larger openings and really tuck in tight at the back. Airbox inlet looks a tad higher and larger as well.

I can’t comment as to the reason for the gross speed difference, but there is video of her touching wheels with another car, causing her to lose complete control of the car. It’s hard to see whether or not it was […]

I was incorrect, from 03-09 it was 10, 8, 6, etc..

If we want to see closer standings, the points need to be brought closer together. the old points system of 10,9,8,etc.. was too close, but 25,18,15 is too much of a spread.
If we want close racing, and a […]

Justin commented on the post, Brawn believes Ferrari slump is linked to loss of Marchionne 4 years, 7 months ago
This has been a constant theme for Ferrari since 2009. A strong start to the season, maybe even a strong start following the summer break, but they completely fall off at the end. Then it’s “lets finish as strong […]

Justin commented on the post, Horner: Vettel's 2012 comeback shows he can still beat Hamilton to title 4 years, 8 months ago
Ferrari is likely going to stand in that way as well in a way. My personal suspicion is that Ferrari has likely already set Constructors championship as the number 1 priority for the team. They are not out for a […]

Justin commented on the post, Vettel would have preferred worse start to avoid collision 4 years, 11 months ago
Which is fair, but you’re also talking about a guy who has the entire weight of the Ferrari team on his back. Lewis can afford to be a bit more relaxed with Bottas on the team. Plus, you can also argue that given […]

Could have, should have, if’s and but’s were candies and nuts. Look, we’ve all been clamoring for some proper racing and Seb backed out much sooner than Bottas, he just lost the grip. This crap happens to […]

Justin commented on the post, Vettel would have preferred worse start to avoid collision 4 years, 11 months ago
You mean like how Vettel actually began braking before Bottas and clearly lost grip? New track surface, cold brakes, a corner that clearly doesn’t do the person on the inside (Vettel) any favors, and […]

3. How did this get a 6 or 7? Was it the DRS passes, Alonso’s constant whining, the rain that never came, Hamilton cruising to a completely uncontested win, or was it the dizzying combination of red and blue […]

Justin commented on the post, Vettel suspects Ferrari struggled more than rivals on thinner tyres 5 years ago
Pirelli changed their tire construction in 2013 after a string of tire failures during the British GP. That was just before Seb went on his 10 race winning streak. It would be hard to say that was due to the […]

you have to have these boring races to have the exciting ones. That said, Pirelli needs to rethink this new tread depth for the upcoming French and British GP’s. It’s clearly benefitting only one team, hence why I […]

Get a good look at it then. It’s not “revolutionary” but is a revolution of their car.

I think that McLaren nose is worth calling a revolution, to be fair, it has 3 rival concepts in one. Force India have brought a new front wing, a new floor, and some new side pods. Ferrari also got a […]

Im sorry, without buyers? I’m not one to believe Merc is in any hurry to replace Bottas, he and Hamilton get along too well for them and I am not sure they are looking to go back to 14-16 all over again with the […]

I love Dan and I really hope he joins Ferrari. His attitude, work ethic, and outlook are exactly what Maranello need in the new Ferrari culture. I also think he’ll help bring about a new look at Ferrari; that it […]
