Why can’t we have tyres that have to be kept hot, that are damaged by not sliding them…?

Two races in 2021 and 2 cars with brake trouble caused by a sandwich bag (Alonso in Bahrain) and a tear-off. How many years and thousands of F1 staff does it take to design a brake duct that doesn’t swallow things?!

Aww, I thought he was indestructible! Pleased he had 20 happy years of retirement, and forever grateful to be attracted to racing by a man who knew exactly how to promote it. Rest! In! PEACE!

They should award tokens, not points.

Aston Martin should get 7Up as a sponsor.
The reserve role’s a smart move, and his best chance of getting a race or two to remind teams what he can do – and avoid any silly arguments on track.
Even if two out of four Red Bull racers have already had […]
Last paragraph says it all. Nice-looking car but same underpowered story.
Their only chance is if Kimi can find his way to the front just before a safety car/red flag – but it’s nearly the end of the race so he […]

22 eh? So no chance of Jenson Button making a comeback to take on the two World Champions before him!
If everybody repeatedly cut the chicanes at Yas Marina, we might even get a decent race there!

The multi-month contract means we can do it all again next year. Can’t imagine him driving for anyone else in F1.
Glad it’s sorted, and the F1 news can move on!

Williams should be renamed either ‘Lotus’ or something beginning with A.

Wonder who’ll be the title sponsor of this race?
Bullfrog commented on the post, Should Formula 1 use Bahrain's Outer circuit again? 4 months, 2 weeks ago
Yes, call it the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
I wonder if they could have two races truly back-to-back – Friday and Sunday, or Sunday and Tuesday – instead of hanging around for a week.
It’s far more worrying that F1 is granting a superlicence to someone who tries to drive other people into the pit wall.
What happened to his penalty points, by the way? Do they still apply in F1, or did they never happen?

Put him in the Williams!
Thanks for a super detailed report so soon after the race. Hard to disagree with Toto Wolff’s summary of it all… we’ll be forever wondering how the hell the crew thought Bottas would be coming in first, and what […]

Is this the shortest ever F1 lap?
I think some of the old French tracks – Dijon and the short Paul Ricard one – were close to a minute or just under.

He should turn up as “Carlos Sainz Jnr Jnr”, shuffling around on his knees and talking in a high voice.
